This film is the result of a collaborative effort between M2Film and Danske Regioner. The purpose behind the film is to provide a human voice and human faces to "Borgernes Sundhedsvæsen", a new initiative to change the culture within the Danish healthcare system.

CENTERED AROUND HUMAN BEINGS
The film employs the narrative voice of a doctor telling us about his workplace: The hospital. The place where life begins and ends. Our emotions are stirred as we walk the hospital's hallways, as we witness the patients being cared for, and as we see people living their lives outside the hospital.
