Motion Graphics Designer
You’d rather build the tool than do the same thing over and over
M2 Film · Aarhus · Full-time
We create commercials and branded content for some of Denmark’s biggest brands. Our graphics team is based in Filmbyen in Aarhus and works closely with colleagues in Bangkok. We are part of M2 Group, with offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Bangkok and Los Angeles.
We’re looking for a Motion Graphics Designer who can do two things at once: deliver excellent creative work and spot ways to make the process smarter.
Why we’re looking for this combination
Our business is growing, and our work comes in different shapes and sizes. On one side, we handle high-volume projects: multiple versions, formats and markets, all with tight deadlines. On the other, we create bespoke productions, including sizzle reels, live-action films and animation, where every deliverable needs a tailored approach.
Both benefit from someone taking a closer look at how the work gets done. That’s why we’re looking for someone who enjoys solving the task at hand and figuring out how to do it smarter next time, whether through a template, a script, an AI workflow or simply a better approach to the process.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating motion graphics and 3D for commercials and digital campaigns
- Adapting content across formats, languages and markets
- Setting up automated workflows using templates, expressions and scripts to eliminate repetitive manual work
- Testing and implementing AI and language model tools in our production process, identifying what actually works and what’s just noise
- Working with producers and coordinators to establish what’s achievable within the available time and budget
- Sharing what you learn with the rest of the team, including our colleagues in Bangkok
What you’ll need
- Experience creating motion graphics in a professional production environment
- Advanced After Effects skills and proficiency in the rest of the Adobe suite
- Spoken and written proficiency in Danish and English
Experience we’d also like to see
- 3D, whether in Cinema 4D, Blender, Unreal or another tool
- Automation, scripting or AI tools in your own work
- Using a language model for more than writing emails
You don’t need to know how to code. But you should be curious about how things work, and you should have tried automating something that used to take you a long time. We care about what you’ve made, not how many years you’ve been doing it.
What we offer
- A pension scheme and health insurance through Danica
- Additional paid days off beyond statutory holiday entitlement
- An in-house lunch scheme
- Real scope to build new workflows as part of your job
- Skilled colleagues in a workplace where production happens every day
